DNAgenie is a webserver that identifies ADNA-, BDNA- and single stranded DNA-binding residues in the protein sequences.

Please follow the two steps below to make a prediction

STEP ONE Paste no more than FIVE protein sequences with standard FASTA format:

To make a blance among various predictors that deployed on this server, we limit the computation resource for DNAgenie. For large-scale predictions, you are welcome to send your protein sequences to us via jianzhang@xynu.edu.cn or biocomputinglab@sina.com

STEP TWO Provide you email address:

The prediction results will be sent to your mail box

HELP

The webserver accepts a single protein sequence as the input. The user should submit the protein sequence in the FASTA format.

    Line1: >protein ID

Line2: protein sequence (1-letter amino acid encoding)

Each protein requires two lines and multiple proteins should be placed in consecutive lines.

Proteins gaining numeric score higher the threshold will be regard as a putative specific DNA-binding residue.

We will send a message reporting the detailed prediction result to the email address you input once the current prediction is finished. For more information in respect to its content, please make a try and see the result.
